Two US Graduate Schools Modernize Admissions Management with PeopleSoft and CY2

Two US graduate schools of the same university required modernization of their existing custom developed, Admission Applications Web Services (AAWS) based application which supports the complete lifecycle of graduate program application preparation and submission. Undergraduate programs use the Common App which does not provide the flexibility required by the graduate schools.

After considering licensing a 3rd party application system, or hiring consultants to build another bespoke solution, the combined schools’ project sponsor learned about CY2’s native PeopleSoft solution from a search on the HEUG website. After extensive demos and due diligence, which included speaking directly with CY2 customers University of Glasgow and Skema Business School, CY2 was officially selected as the solutions provider.

CY2 is now currently engaged in a full-scale implementation with go-live projected for June 2023.

How Lone Star College Built Program Enrollment/Guided Pathways with PeopleSoft and CY2

Join CY2 and Lone Star College (LSC) to learn about LSC’s implementation of Program Enrollment/Guided Pathways with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.

Lone Star College embraced a more structured advisement model that helps students stay focused on their end goal – graduation!

LSC will discuss their vendor selection and project methodology and why they ultimately decided to leverage their existing Campus Solutions footprint instead of licensing a third-party Program Enrollment system. LSC will also address lessons learned from the project and their vision for future expansion of the project.

Don’t License a 3rd Party Student Information System! Use Campus Solutions for Workforce Development & Continuing Education

Campus Solutions customers have two choices for supporting Workforce Development / Continuing Education:

  • License a third-party Student Information System (SIS)
  • Build a bespoke application from scratch.

Until now.

CY2’s Continuing Education application leverages native Campus Solutions and PeopleTools components configured to give customers a third, less costly and risky option:

  • Use Campus Solutions to support Workforce Development / Continuing Education.
